• Wind Farms: ATDI’s comprehensive radio network planning tool kit possesses the ability to model the effect of wind farms on any radio communications technologies such as broadcast, mobile and radar. Due to their large size and both static parts (tower) and moving parts (blades and nacelle), wind turbines can potentially create interference and cause performance degradation for RF communications systems in the form of shadowing, scattering, and resolution cell power saturation. Using the appropriate propagation models, these performance degrading effects can be accessed and mitigation options can be evaluated using ICS Telecom and HTZ Warfare.

• Maritime Networks: The Maritime Networks are modelled using the RF network modelling software, HTZ warfare operating in the range of 10kHz to 400GHz to model Groundwave propagation and Skywave propagation for coverage and traffic analysis as per the ITU Recommendations.

All ATDI customers with a current maintenance contract for either HTZ warfare or ICS telecom can download these reference manual by going to www.atdi.us.com and clicking on the Customer Portal link on the right side of the homepage. On the next page, enter your User Login and Password to gain access to the latest reference manuals and software releases.

If your maintenance contract has expired, please contact ATDI to get a quote for a maintenance extension or to request a User Login and Password in case you have renewed the maintenance but do not have access to ATDI’s Customer Portal.
